This extraordinary and unique piece has every available feature. The detail is stunning, with exotic walnut and cherry inlays gracing the front and sides of the swan neck pediment. The cabinet features a rich Madonna cherry finish on select hardwoods accompanied by walnut veneers and side panels.
The unique design of the columns is unlike any other piece, with beautifully carved top caps which feed into reeded, hand-carved columns that flare like rich tassels and then become smoothly wrapped Walnut veneer along the center. The columns then finish with hand carved multi-shaped round designs and reeded end posts.
The piece features beveled glass locking doors, beveled glass side access doors and the lower base of the clock is impressive as well, with genuine wood inlay framing a walnut veneer with rope molding around the front and sides of the case.
The face of this piece is also magnificent, with a back lit translucent face, solid brass etched Roman numerals, three-dimensional cast corners, moving second hand and moving moon dial. The weight shells have decorative bands and the clock comes with a 10 5/8" brass lyre pendulum.
This extraordinary piece also comes with an exclusive set of chimes featuring God Bless America, America the Beautiful and the traditional Westminster.
