We started RealGoodFurniture.com because we got tired of being ripped off every time we bought furniture. We wanted to create a place where an average person who has no close friends or relatives in the furniture business, could get a “friends and family” deal on furniture.

Retail furniture stores have very high markups on their furniture. Even furniture that is supposedly on sale is usually marked up to at least double the sellers cost.

It just kills us to hear and see advertisements that proclaim the “lowest prices ever” and prices that will “never be this low again”. It’s usually just a bunch of bull designed to fool people into thinking they are getting some great deal. A more sophisticated buyer will see through this advertising nonsense, yet still end up dealing with the “big local furniture store” because there are few options available.

Our mission is to provide options. We deal directly with the factory, and in most cases the furniture is shipped directly from the factories to the customer. We have very low warehousing costs, no fancy showroom to decorate, and no sales people to pay.
