Outstanding features make this tasteful design a tremendous value. This traditional sculptured arched bonnet grandfather features a sophisticated crown with embossed carvings and white ash burl. The cabinet features rich hand carved top caps to distinguish the front reeded upper column design, bringing attention to the separate beveled glass dial door. The cabinet comes with crystal-cut beveled front glass, beveled side glass and hinged side access panels with beveled glass. Also featured are separate locking dial and pendulum doors.

The elegantly framed brass dial has a functioning lunar calendar with piercings to allow the lighted cabinet to shine through, raised Arabic numerals, corner design spandrels and a cast center design. The dial's motif is carried through and complemented by matching brass weights on a brass German cable drive movement, and a beautiful lyre pendulum with a 10 5/8" decorative disk and pewter finish. Both the weight shells and the pendulum have matching gold decorative accent bands.

The triple chime cable drive movement plays the soothing Westminster, Whittington or St. Michael's chimes and features an automatic night silent option. And, as if all the above weren't enough, the cabinet is lighted and has a mirror. Leveling legs are added for carpet or uneven floors and, as will all heirloom quality Ridgeway pieces, a free brass engraved nameplate comes with each clock.
