Built for generations, this Ridgeway Grandfather Curio Clock is a lesson in the woodworkers craft and an impressive work of art. Ridgeway clocks have as many as 5 structural cross members across the base and top making their cases the most stable in the industry! This broken pediment grandfather clock and curio features a Glen Arbor cherry finish over select hardwoods and veneers. The elegantly shaped swan neck pediment features a fully turned finial and curved hinged access doors open at the dial level for easy access. 5 glass shelves(3 are adjustable) are availalbe for displaying your collectibles, along with a mirrored back and lighted interior cabinet to further highlight your treasured mementos. The Glen Arbor cherry finish is perfect for most of today's traditional, casual or transitional decors. The polished brass and silver dial feature an elaborate etched design, raised Arabic numerals, and the dial design flows through to a decorative pendulum with a 10 5/8" disk and matching weight shells. The dial has a moving moon dial with etched stars. Polished brass weights hang from the cable driven West German mechanism. The locking door has beveled glass and the clock movement is accessed from the two hinged side panels. The single chime movement plays the soothing Westminster chime and features an auto night silence option. As with every heirloom quality Ridgeway Grandfather clock a free brass engraved nameplate and leveling legs for uneven floors or carpet come with each piece.
