The detailed and unique craftmanship on this cabinet offers all the features......Notice the construction of this clock - a broken swan neck pediment with embossed rosettes atop an intricately carved rosette and flanked by exotic matching crotch mahogany overlays. This impressive work of art has a Glen Arbor cherry finish on select hardwoods and veneers. The cabinet features large reeded posts with individual hand carved top and mid caps that gracefully frame the clock face.

The cabinet is illuminated and has a mirrored back to draw maximum attention to the 24% cut lead crystal lyre pendulum disk. Both the locking front door and sides feature beveled glass. The center of the clock dial also offers matching decorative crystal glass, and a functioning astological moon dial which twinkles in the night from the interior light. The polished brass clock face and dial features raised Arabic numerals, a pierced corner spandrel design, and is framed with raised castings. Polished brass weights hang from the cable driven West German mechanism and the brass twisted rod lyre pendulum features a 10 5/8" disk with a crystal center. The triple chime movement plays Westminster, Whittington or St. Michaels chimes and features an auto night silence option.
