This English Manor grandfather clock is a stunning display of workmanship by the fine clockmakers at Ridgeway. The Key West finish over the sliced and matched grain is complemented by striking cerejeira burl overlays. This impressive design, with it's large crown molding square caps is a bold example of the woodworkers craft. The beautiful swirling of the cerejeira burl is displayed on three sides of the clock and the multi-tiered base is enhanced by more book matched burl. This Ridgeway grandfather clock face features an elegant white porcelain face with Roman numerals, and a separate second hand dial. The polished brass weights hang from the cable driven West German mechanism and the pendulum includes a double faux mercury vial. The front glass door of this grandfather clock features beveled glass and access is gained from the two side panels. The triple chime movement plays Westminster, Whittington or St. Michaels chimes and features an auto night silence option. Free brass engraved nameplate comes with the piece.
