The Danville offers an exceptional mix of cherry solids and mahogany veneers and mahogany burl overlays. This traditional design broken pediment grandfather features a sophisticated broken swan neck pediment with carved rosettes, a fully turned finial and beautiful crotch mahogany burl veneer panels on the top crown. Glen Arbor cherry finish over select cherry hardwoods and matching mahogany veneers. The cabinet features reeded pilasters with individually hand carved top and mid caps that elegantly frame each side of the clock dial.

The elegantly framed brass dial has raised Arabic numerals, a "beaded" cast corner and center design and a functioning blue lunar calendar and remote second hand. The polished brass dial's motif is carried through to matching brass weights on a brass German cable drive movement, complemented by a twisted rod lyre pendulum with a 10 5/8" decorative disk. Both the weight shells and the pendulum are elegantly displayed by a mirrored back cabinet and are accented by the interior case light.

The cable drive movement plays triple chimes which feather the soothing Westminster, Whittington or St. Michael's chimes and an automatic night silent option. The cabinet comes with a crystal-cut beveled front glass and beveled side glass which allow full viewing of the pendulum.
