Solid, gently curved bonnet and graceful shell and leaf overlay adorn the crown of this "Holland" grandfather clock. The Treasure Oak finish and intricate detailing on the cabinet over select hardwoods and veneers make this piece an absolute winner at this price. The design is complemented by distinctive reeded columns along the front of the cabinet which have upper and lower caps that frame the dial. The pendulum door locks for added security. Leveling legs are added for uneven floors or carpets. Beveled glass is also found on the side panels and in the side panels allowing full viewing of the lyre pendulum.

The Holland features an exclusive decorative dial with pierced stars, raised Arabic numerals, embossed corner spandrels, and a decorative center design which glimmers from the interior cabinet light. The dial's motif is carried through to matching banded weights on a brass German cable drive movement, complemented by a lyre pendulum with a 10 5/8" decorative center disk. The weight shells and pendulum hand beautifully in front of the mirrored back cabinet. The cable drive movement plays the melodious Westminster chimes and also features an automatic night silent option.
