American made bonnet top Ridgeway oak grandfather clock has loads of features including triple chime German movement, decorative dial, weights and pendulum and lighted cabinet w/mirrored back.
The Ridgeway "Avondale" Oak Grandfather clock is the essence of understated eloquence. The impressive solid hardwood cabinet features a solid, gently curved arched bonnet with bookmatched oak veneers and recessed chambered corner side columns. The base is accented on three sides with an egg and dart laser cut moulding.
The intricate design continues through two locking doors, one for the dial and one for the pendulum. The pendulum door has detailed molding design and curved beveled glass. The beveled glass is also carried through to the side glass panels.This heirloom quality piece features a mirrored case back lighted interior that not only reflects off the pendulum and weight shells, but also glimmers through pierced stars on the moon phase of the dial.
The polish brass and silver dial is impressive with a unique etched brass finish with opalescent color accents, Arabic numerals, an embossed center and decorative corner spandrels. There is a full functioning moon dial and the design of the dial is carried through to the decorative weight shells and decorative lyre pendulum with an 10 5/8" center disk.
This piece features the soothing notes of the Westminster, St. Michael's and Whittington chimes and comes with an automatic night silent option. As with every fine Ridgeway grandfather clock each comes with a free brass engraved nameplate and leveling legs for uneven floors or carpet.
