This traditional bonnet top Burlington grandfather clock by Ridgeway is elegant and simple in design, but loaded with features. The light treasure oak finish over select hardwoods and veneeers is perfect for today's natural wood decors. The shaped bonnet top features a stunning raised burl overlay on the front crown. Carved reeded posts with turned capitols frame the dial and adorn the cabinet front and a detailed embossed molding accents the bottom of the front locking door. Leveling legs are added for carpets or uneven floors.
The polished brass and silver clock face features raised Arabic numerals, a decorative embossed center and corner design and complimenting matching weight shells and pendulum. The dial has a moving moon dial with pierced, etched stars so that a mounted interior light reflects through the stars and center of the dial.
Decorative, banded polished brass weights hang from the cable driven West German mechanism and the brass rod lyre pendulum features a 10 5/8" disk with a decorative embossed center. The back panel is a fancy burl overlay and is highlighted by the internal light is mounted in the case. Both the front and sides have glass and the locking front door is beveled. The triple chime movement plays Westminster, Whittington or St. Michaels chimes and features an auto night silence option. Free brass engraved nameplate comes with the piece.
