The romantic curvaceous design of Ridgeway reproduction grandfather clock "The Katherine" embodies the spirit of designers from the late 19th century. This sophisticated grandfather clock features a cabinet made from select hardwoods and finished in Hampton Cherry and features an optional solid wood carving on the top crown and an open scrolled base that cradles the antiqued dial. The dial features easy-to-read Arabic numerals and tapered spade hands and the lower base is hinged to reveal an interior storage cabinet.
The middle of the elegantly harp shaped cabinet is front glass to reveal hanging weight shells, cables and a swinging lyre pendulum with decorative center, all in an antique brass finish. The clock features a quartz movement with either a Westminster chime or hour only strike and has a volume control and night silent feature.
