This traditional design broken pediment grandfather features a sophisticated broken swan neck pediment with a turned finial and Key West finish over select cherry hardwoods and matching crotch mahogany veneers. The cabinet features a hand carved solid wood design under the finial, unique turned and reeded upper column design. There are separate locking dial and pendulum doors, and the pendulum door also has matching crotch mahogany inlays.

The elegantly framed brass dial has raised Arabic numerals, corner design spandrels and a functioning lunar calendar with piercings to allow the lighted cabinet to shine through. The polished brass dial's motif is carried through to matching brass weights on a brass German cable drive movement, complemented by a lyre pendulum with a 10 5/8" decorative disk. Both the weight shells and the pendulum have raised cast design elements.

The cable drive movement plays the soothing Westminster, Whittington or St. Michael's chimes and features an automatic night silent option. The cabinet comes with a crystal-cut beveled front glass, beveled side glass and hinged access panels with beveled glass. And, as if all the above weren't enough, the cabinet is lighted and has a mirrored back.
