Fantastic buy on traditional design grandfather. This cherry traditional broken pediment grandfather is a tremendous value. The Remington Salem Grandfather clock features a simple swan neck broken pediment with a fully turned finial and Glen Arbor finish over select hardwoods and veneers. Reeded posts with unique top turnings elegantly frame the dial or clock face. The brass and silver dial has raised Arabic numerals, and embossed center decorative design, corner spandrels and a blue lunar calendar. The polished dial's motif is carried through to the brass German chain drive movement, which is complemented by a matching lyre pendulum with a 8 5/8" decorative disk. The movement plays a soothing Westminster chime and features a silent chime option.
