P.O. Boxes - We DO NOT deliver to any P.O. Boxes, APO's or FPO's
We make every effort to ship ordered merchandise as soon as possible. Orders to be shipped using Standard Shipping will be shipped via Yellow Transportation Services or comparable carrier service unless otherwise indicated on order. We have negotiated high-volume discounts with our carriers that provide discounts of approximately 2/3’s off of their regular price on shipping charges. This discount is reflected in the low shipping costs quoted for Standard Shipping.
Standard shipping includes door-to-door delivery to a commercial or residential address based on your selection at the time of the order. The standard service may not include a lift-gate unless specified, and the driver will not unload freight or carry it inside unless specified. Please use the Shipping Calculator in the shopping cart to specify additional services required. If you need a higher level of shipping service than what is available through the Shipping Calculator we suggest you consider our White Glove service. Please allow 1-3 weeks for Standard Delivery
Includes delivery of your new furniture to your home or business. Does not include unloading furniture from the back of the truck or moving it inside unless specified on order (please specify inside delivery or lift-gate options as applicable). Does not include delivery upstairs or elevators. Does not include furniture assembly or box removal.
Standard Delivery is broken down into six options as follows:
Residential (This includes any non-commercial address)
Residential /w liftgate (This means that for large items, the driver will be able to get the merchandise off of the truck without your assistance)
Residential /w inside delivery (This means the driver will use a dolly to bring the merchandise to the nearest dry area, i.e., inside front door in foyer or hall, garage etc., ground floor.)
Commercial (Delivered to a commercial business address, driver may need assistance unloading, merchandise is not carried inside.)
Commercial /w liftgate (Delivered to a commercial business address, driver will not need assistance unloading, merchandise is not carried inside.)
Commercial /w inside delivery (Delivered to a commercial business address, driver will not need assistance unloading, merchandise is carried inside to nearest dry area, ground floor.)
White Glove shipping service means the delivery team will bring the merchandise inside, unpack the contents, perform minor assembly if needed, and remove the packing materials from your premises. The White Glove service is provided in a manner similar to a moving company – the furniture is unpacked, inspected and blanket wrapped prior to delivery, so do not expect it to be in the original packaging.

Includes inside delivery to first or second floors (Additional Floors Please Call). Includes basic furniture assembly and placement. Excludes assembly for: Hanging Wall Mirrors, Bunk Beds, Loft Beds, Cribs, Floor/Wall anchors. Includes removing any packing materials or debris from your premises Please call for quotation.
UPS For items that can be shipped via UPS, FedX Ground or DHL, shipping policies of the carrier will apply.
Damage It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect the shipment and report any damage at the time of delivery by noting it on the freight company paperwork at the time of signing for the delivery. The customer must immediately notify RealGoodFurniture LLC at this time. If the customer fails to do make a proper notation of the paperwork or notify us in a timely manner and there is damage reported to us at a later time, RealGoodFurniture LLC will be limited in it’s ability to assist with claims for damages and while we will try to assist you we will not be responsible for any claims in this situation.
Cancellation If your order consists of out-of-stock items or contains both in-stock and back-ordered items, the customer will be contacted and the in-stock items may be shipped as requested. In the case of out-of-stock items, the customer may also elect to cancel the order, in this event the customer will be entitled to a full refund. If you change your mind and simply want to cancel the order prior to the time we have ordered it from the factory, there will be a charge of $50 or 5% of the order, whichever is the higher amount. If we have already ordered the merchandise from the factory, regardless of whether or not the order has shipped, the order is not cancellable without our approval. If we decide to approve a cancellation after the items have been ordered from the factory but before it has been shipped there will be a restocking fee of up to 20%. If we agree to a cancellation after the order has been shipped, there will be a 20% restocking fee plus all freight charges, including charges for consolidation or return shipping, will be paid by the customer.
Returns If you are shipped defective goods or an overage/shortage, or incorrect goods in comparison to your invoice, RealGoodFurniture LLC will pay the shipping costs to fix the error. You have 3 days from the arrival of your package to report this. Email info@realgoodfurniture.com with the order number and a brief explanation of the situation. You will be emailed further instructions. If the goods are NOT incorrect or defective and you wish to return them, unopened, you have 3 days from when the shipment arrives to return the goods. You will need to email info@realgoodfurniture.com with a brief explanation of the situation. A refund will be provided within 30 days after the merchandise is received at our warehouse. You will not be refunded the original or return shipping costs. You must make sure the merchandise is packaged properly in original packing materials or equivelent for return shipping and you will bear responsibility for damage in transit. Any merchandise returned will incur a 20% restocking fee. |
