This traditional bonnet top grandfather clock is the perfect size for any home. The bonnet top on this nutmeg cherry cabinet over select hardwoods and veneers is adorned with a wheat stalks overlay. The cabinet has reeded columns with upper and lower turned capitols. The grandfather clock cabinet is illuminated with an interior light, which reflects through the pierced moondial, giving the appearance of twinkling stars.
The Statesville features a cast brass dial, brass Arabic numerals and embossed center and corner spandrels. An elegant burl back panel is seen behind the cables, weights and swinging lyre pendulum with a decorative 8 5/8" lyre pendulum which has a cast center accent.
The front door locks for added security. The look and feel of a mechanical swinging pendulum is made possible with the quartz driven movement, which requires no weekly winding. The movement offers the choice of the soothing Westminster or Ave Marie chimes and has a night silence and volume control option.
