Best Chair frames are kiln-dried hardwood, which prevents warping, twisting or splitting of the frame. The joints are double-dowelled, screwed and glued for strength. Most models feature a drop-in coil spring system with a spring edge front, for comfort, support and durability which can easily be replaced. The spring system also reinforces the frame since it attaches six times to the frame. Seat and back cushions are made from top quality Dacron foam, which is easily accessible. Recliners, glider rockers and motion furniture have a limited lifetime warranty on the frame and Leggett and Platt mechanisms.
