The detailing on this cabinet is a wonder to behold.......Notice the construction of this clock - bombay shaped base with ash burl overlays, a Sheffield Mahogany finish over select hardwoods.......there's also an intricate hand-carved shell and leaf overlay on the crown, and a matching curved leaf design on each side of the base. The front locking pendulum door features over shaped beveled glass and the glass side panels are beveled as well.

The cabinet has a mirrored back to draw maximum attention to the 24% cut lead crystal lyre pendulum disk. The center of the clock dial also offers matching decorative crystal glass, raised Arabic numerals, and a convex glass lens to protect the dial.

Polished brass weights hang from the exclusive never wind movement which plays the three chimes of Whittington, St. Michael's and the soothing Westminster. The melody is played on authentic chime rods but the movement is powered with electricity so no weekly winding is required. The triple chime also features an auto night silence option, and the top bonnet easily slides off for ease of access to the movement.
