Stunning workmanship and elegant simplicity describe this Scandanavian design Ridgeway "Savannah" Grandfather clock. Elaborate carved cabinet is an impressive work of art, featuring a crackle sandstone finish on select hardwoods and veneers, distressed just enough to match today's antique interior decors. The cabinet has gold and silver highlights and a beautifully sculpted crown(removable) which sets the stage for aesthetic symmetry with tightly scrolled pillars at the base of the dial, matching scrolled circular patterns around the upper case and solid wood bun feet. The middle portion of the cabinet has curvaceous styling and a peek-a-boo window allowing a partial view of the pendulum. Both upper and lower doors of the cabinet are detailed with a raised panel and the lower case door opens forward to reveal storage and a removable shelf. The piece also comes with leveling legs for uneven floors or carpet.
The clock face and dial has a matching aged finish with diamond shaped hands and a convex crystal glass lnes.
The clock features a quartz movement with the beautiful Westminster melody or separate hour only strike, adjustable volume control and an automatic night silent option.
